‘ONE NIGHT, TWO JOURNEYS’

Lord and Lady Ardee are delighted to welcome Vyvienne Long and Roger Doyle on Friday, 29th Sept. for an evening of piano and cello.

Taking place in The Orangery, this concert promises to bring the audience on two fantastic journeys, one to the wonderland of internationally renowned, local pianist and composer, Roger Doyle where the unexpected can be relied upon, harmonically inviting you to languish in the atonal soundscape of mystery and madness.

The second half of the concert will then arrive at a familiar destination - the singer songwriter genre. The songs and delicately considered piano accompaniment of singer and cellist, Vyvienne Long are sweetly and unapologetically honest, but be prepared to interrupt the sonic languishing with intermittent belly ache laughter.

Bound to be a wonderful night of original music, make an evening of it with a special pre-concert dinner in The Grain Store, featuring a seasonal set menu of fare grown and reared in Killruddery, just a few metres away from your concert venue.
